A Study on Differentiation of Morphology Culture of Vernacular Architecture in the Core Culture Circle

Abstract：Based on the general survey of traditional villages, this paper established the Basic Information Database of Traditional Folk House of Zhaoqin, and drew the zoning map according to their cultural geography. We find that differentiation of residential culture exists in Zhaoqin region which is located in the core culture circle of Cantonese. Analyzing from the intensity pattern, compatible pattern and integration relationship, this paper suggests a "core-periphery" structure based on the "weak differentiation", and the coexistence as wel as fusion arose in the process of cultural communication. In the end a differentiation model of residential culture in the core circle is established.
