Study on Transportation Network of Chenzhou in Qing Dynasty：From the Perspective of City System

Abstract：Based on the characteristics analysis of the transportation network of Zhili County, Chenzhou, Hunan Province in Qing Dynasty, and the interpretation of the road layouts of cities in mountain region, the study reveals the interpretation of the city transportation system in mountain region as a simple result of political zoning would be wrong and there would be strong relevance to the complexity of the natural terrain.
