Abstract：Documents about campus planning are very important during the process of campus planning and development. Many universities in U.S. have kept variety of detailed campus planning documents very wel. The studies on campus planning documents of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the recent 55 years would help the campus designers in China to understand how the American campus grow, and could be good references for Chinese counterpart.
