Study on Rural and Urban Planning Reform in Guangdong Under the Background of New Urbanization

Abstract：The article interprets national policies on new urbanization, to understand the opportunity and task for the rural and urban planning under the background of new urbanization. It raises thinks on planning system, concept and method from a management point of view. It summarizes explorations in Guangdong such as the eco-control, the Multi-plans Integration, the Beautiful Country, the legal preservation of historic building, the public participation and so on, which leads the experimentation of planning reforms in China.
