Abstract：Regional characteristics of landscape of water system in PRD developed from two sources: the geographic condition, and local culture. The paper analyzed the origin of regional characteristics of river landscape in PRD from the perspectives of geography, greening, water management, humanities and etc., and provided the theory supports for the renovation of water system landscape in PRD.
