Building Healthy River that Focus on the Ecological Concept

Abstract：This article takes the healthy river concept as the standard and tool for ecological status assessment,and initial y establishes the evaluation system including water, ecological, economic and social cultural factors. This article reviews the research progress in domestic and abroad on water system planning, analyzes the existing water issues of Guangzhou Million acres orchard It also explores planning methods include water structure, quantity, quality, function, embankments, and river biodiversity. Final y, it o provides a planning strategy considering both ecological and economic value implementing the healthy relationship development between people and water.
