The Space form of Historic Street in Batang County

Abstract： This article studies the evolution of. urban form in Batang county during the period from Qing Dynasty to early liberation (1640-1968). Through analysis of historical documentation and site visits, discovers the two reasons why spatial form of Batang historic street changed dramatical y during this period:the integration and interaction of multiculturalism, and the development needs of Batang. We hope that through the study of the evolution of Batang historic street, explore the characteristics of urbanization of ethnic areas.
