The Research on the Thermal Environment of Villages in Pearl River Delta Region

Abstract：At present the layout , architectural form and underlying surface structure of vil age have changed on the basis of the traditional form in the Pearl River Delta region. The thermal environment of vil age was simulated, based on the 3D microclimate model ENVI-met. The simulation results shown that it is positive to increase the vil age building density and adjust main streets inside the vil age to paral el to the dominant wind direction for the construction of vil age thermal environment.
