Abstract：Guiyang County, Hunan Province, is the origin and prosperous place of Hunan kunqu opera. It still has a large number of ancient stages in the rural area. As the Kunqu opera performing platform, these stages has unique architectural features, are masterpieces of folk architectural art. Based on the field research, and the historic study, the article analyzes the remain condition of the ancient stages, the characteristics of the types, decorative art, etc.
