Abstract：The article introduces the"Bamboo Umbrella" - one of the design works of the graduate course "Digital Architecture" in School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Nanjing University - on spatial organization, unit morphogenesis, material fabrication, form control on site and etc. Further discussions on the design methods are summarized in the end.
