Better House to Cleaner Air:Gold Prize Work Introduction of the 24th World Congress of Architecture UIA 2011 Tokyo Student Competition

Abstract:The paper introduces the design process of the work named “Air Interchange”, which is a gold prize of the UIA2011TOKYO Student Competition. The key concept of the design is the strategy of inflated architecture in which the air helps to shape the building component, while serving as a tool of medical care and nursing for the people indoor. The work shows a new possible mode of medical system in 2050 from the perspective of architecture and urban planning.
