The Spatial Form of Guilin in the Late Qing Dynasty:through the Study of an Historical Map

Abstract：The late Qing Dynasty"Guilin provincial capital map"is the first map of the city of Guilin by using innovative science combined with traditional Chinese methods. Using image analysis and comparison of historical data, the paper corrects some incorrect information about the map overview. Through studying of the figure of urban spatial morphology it prompts to Guilin city evolved understanding of key points.
