Practices and Reviews of Village Planning in the Context of Tibetan Agricultural Culture:A Case Study of Tunda Village in Nyêmo County, Lhasa

Abstract：The villages that developed in Tibetan agricultural culture system represent unique cultural characteristics. The Tunda village ,which is an ancient rural settlement , shows typical agricultural civilization of Tibet in many ways such as spatial organization, usual customs, mode of production, etc. This paper studies how agricultural culture elements effect on the development of Tunda village, and tries to find ideas and countermeasures for village planning in the situation of traditional culture evolution.
