Abstract： aBStract Folk culture elements in the landscape are of great significance to show geographical and cultural exploration of places. These researches on folk customs have become a hot issue in the urban and rural planning and design. This article take the Xichang Qionghai Gangyao bay resort landscape planning and design as an example: the local folk culture and its spirit are refined into a design approach to better integrate into the regional landscape.
