Study on the Eco Low-tech Strategy of Tibetan Dwellings in Yunnan

Abstract： aBStract The article analyzed two kinds of Tibetan dwellings in Shangri-La Yunnan as cases. The one located at Hongpo Jiantan, and the other at Yuejin, Dongwang. The two regions have different environment, one is high and cold, the other is in the dry valley. Tibetan use ecological low-tech strategy for their houses to fit the regionality. The study includes three factors, regional environment, architectural technology, and spatial logic system. It discusses the materials, structure, space, religion about the dwellings, to demonstrate the ecological low-tech strategy of Tibetan dwellings in Yunnan.
