The Text Situation of Ancient Chinese Construction Technology:Taking Kao Gong Ji and Ying Zao Fa Shi as Example

Abstract： Kao Gong Ji and Ying Zao Fa Shi are two famous texts in ancient Chinese construction technology. Kao Gong Ji was widely read and researched during the centuries. Ying Zao Fa Shi was nearly forgotten till its recent republication. The differences between the two texts are mainly on that the social political and cultural power's impacts on their targeted readers, and the control on the organization of the text compiling as well as their distributions. These are the typical situations on ancient Chinese construction texts.
