From the Chinese traditional houses to the green residential development
Abstract：The construction of the residential buildings becomes the primary problem in China with the development of the urbanization. But there are still a variety of problems in it, for example the short life cycle, the huge energy consumption, the construction waste during the construction and demolition process. They causes serious pollution and energy waste. Due to the environmental damage and the disorder of the eco-system, the sustainable development becomes a global tendency. The Green house is just one of the positive response to eco-environmental issues. The paper analyzes the necessity of developing green houses in China, the generation of the concept, the green techs from the traditional buildings, and the basic knowledge of the green houses.
