The history and characteristics of the traditional Tibetan house in Xinduqiao town
Abstract：Xinduqiao town, locates in the west of Kangding in the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Ganzi, is an important transportation hub between Sichuan and Tibet. With the progress of social and economic development, the local life and production mode is influenced by the "mixed culture". The Tibetan houses change in function, type and layout, and eventually shapes an original building type with contemporary characters. This evolution reflects the changes of the Tibetan towns in the inland progress.
