Inheritance and Innovation of Chinese Vernacular Architecture Culture——Conference Review of the 19th Chinese Academic Conference on Vernacular Architecture
Abstract：The 19th Chinese academic conference on vernacular architecture was held in Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in October 2012. The meeting’s theme is "Inheritance and Innovation" and four main topics such as protection and development of traditional villages and dwellings, vernacular architecture and its relevant regional culture, protection and utilization of historical and cultural blocks in updating cities, application of vernacular architecture elements in modern architecture design were warmly discussed.
