Clear Discrimination and Working Perseveringly, Integrate Teaching and Learning Together: on the 80’s Anniversary of the Architectural Discipline in SCUT
Abstract：To celebrate the 60’s Anniversary of SCUT and the 80’s Anniversary of the School of Architecture, this paper reviews the brilliant history of the School of Architecture after the nation’s Open-Door policy. It provides the school’s experiences from three aspects: taking sub-tropical characteristic as the major development perspective, establishing the special teaching mode based on Lingnan local characteristics, and the flexible management for teachers.
