The Transitional Role of the Urban Construct-Constrained Space: Developmental strategic hypothesis of Shezi Island, City of Taipei, Taiwan
Abstract:Based on the current situation of the urban development, and the topic of a joint Mainland and Taiwan design workshop, the paper comprehensively analyzes the mode of development of the Shezi island, a construct-constrained space of urban fringe in the City of Taipei, proposes the possibilities for the exclave with a strategy of optimization. It is a win- win situation of the spatial and resources reconstruction as well as the priority of ecological protection to achieve the transitional role of the area in the future of the urban development
