Abstract：This paper reviews Professor Long Qingzhong＇ s career of frustrations and his outstanding achievements of education, exploring his thought of China＇ s architectural education and looking back at the course of 30 years for Architectural History Branch of Doctor＇ s fostering. This paper also suggests the means to carry on his remarkable cause in architectural education.
