Regional Architectural Culture and City Characteristics Conservation
Abstract：Alongside with the 30th anniversary of South Architecture, this paper starts with the cultural prosperous of Lingnan architecture, discusses how to deal with the city＇s characteristic crisis in the period of rapid urbanization, explores how to protect and promote regional and cultural characteristics through urban design as well as architectural creation, and suggests how to deal with the relationship between city characteristic protection and the creation of new buildings.
