Key Laboratory of New Technology for Construction of Cities in Mountain Area：ChongQing University
Abstract：The Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of New Technology for Construction of Cities in Mountain Area is based on the research strengths of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning and the School of Civil Engineering, Chongqing University. It comprises four academic research directions, such as systematical and comprehensive study of new and sophisticated technologies in mountain area, master planning, design and construction of single building, and disaster monitoring, so as to provide a scientific basis and technical support for decision making. Since the laboratory was set up, it has been conscientiously implemented the ＂ Openness, Flow, Cooperation, Competitiveness ＂ operation policy, has established a sound management operation and open mechanism, and has achieved series results. The laboratory is gradually becoming an important research and experimental base on theoretical innovation and engineering practice in mountain area urban planning and construction in China.
