Review of the Foundation and Research Progress of the Key Laboratory of Urban and Architectural Heritage Conservation（Southeast University）,Ministry of Education,China
Abstract：Approved by the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Urban and Architectural Heritage Conservation was founded in Southeast University in June 2009. The laboratory is based on two national key disciplines within architectural school, and unites relevant researchers from civil engineering, material science, environmental science, traffic engineering and humanity disciplines. After two years of efforts, the laboratory has gained remarkable achievements in its four research directions of heritage conservation, such as conservation methods and theories in East Asia, mechanism of performance degradation, green approaches to conservation and digital conservation techniques. It has become one of the best centers for research, practice, education and communication in urban and architectural heritage conservation.
