Slow Traffic System Planning and Design for Tourist Town
Abstract：Wudalianchi New Town is a tourist town which relies on the resources of Wudalianchi National Park, with the functions of both ecological migrants residential area and tourist services base. With its moderate size, it is very suitable to develop a slow traffic system. The planning of the slow traffic system is integrated into the different planning stages of conceptual planning, master planning, controlling detailed planning and urban design. It analyses from the overall pattern to the design details through three angles, which are the ＂slow＂ layout, ＂slow＂ traffic and ＂slow＂ tour. This is a systematic summary of slow traffic system planning and design of tourist town.
