Competition-Symbiosis：Evolvement of the Landscape of Lingnan Traditional Settlements
Abstract：Landscape of rural settlement is a complex ecosystem of human-land interaction. The evolvement of the landscape of traditional settlement can be plotted into four phases： traditional period, competitive period, dominated period and succession period. This essay takes the Lingnan region as example, analyzes the rules and characters of rural landscape evolvement of each period, and puts forward the plan and design for the landscape of Lingnan traditional settlement under symbiotic guidance.
