Experiences and Enlightments of Urban Brownfields Landscape Regeneration in the United States
Abstract：With the adjustment of industrial structure and the development of high-tech industries, the productive life of some factories, manufacturing plants and industrial production comes to an end, and is replaced by abandonment or dereliction. Because of the past industrial production, visual poor images, water body and soil pollution and vegetation sparse characterize the obsolete sites, the redevelopment depends on the regenerative landscape planning and design of industrial wastelands. A tremendous success has been achieved in the field of regenerative landscape planning and design of urban brownfields. This article discusses the methods of the landscape regeneration planning and design of industrial wastelands to sum up their successful experiences and enlightments.
