Abstract:As an innovative integration of technology and intelligent medical devices, the remote monitoring analgesic pump system re-presents a paradigm shift in pain management. This system enables real-time dynamic monitoring of patients' pain scores and drug infusion parameters, coupled with remote dose adjustment capabilities, effectively addressing the limitations of traditional patient-controlled analge-sia pumps that require frequent manual interventions. It significantly optimizes the management process for both postoperative acute pain and chronic pathological pain.Clinical evidence demonstrates that this technology not only enhances analgesic precision and patient satis-faction but also reduces clinical staff workload. However, its widespread adoption faces four major challenges:lack of standardized techni-cal specifications, insufficient medical data security protocols, high equipment procurement/maintenance costs, and limited accessibility in primary healthcare institutions.Through multidimensional techno-economic analysis, this paper systematically elaborates the clinical value, existing barriers, and developmental pathways of this innovative technology, providing decision-making references for the transfor-mation and upgrading of pain management models in the era of smart healthcare.
