Abstract:Objective To explore the infuence of quality control circle(QCC)activities on the complications of electric pneumatic tourniquet. Methods A total of 340 patients who used electric pneumatic toummiquet in the People's Hospital of Chancheng District Foshan City from May to June,2023 and October to November,2023 were selected.Patients who received routine intervention from May to June,2023 were included in the control group(n=170),and patients who received QCC activities from October to November,2023 were included in the observation group(n=170).The incidence of complications, nursing satisfaction in operating room and working competence of QCC members were compared between two groups. Results The incidence of limb pain, blisters, nerve injury and skin injury in the observation group were all 0.59%,which were lower than those in the control group(5.29%,4.71%,5.88%and 4.71%).Nursing satistaction in operating room was higher than that in control group. After QCC activities, compared with the control group, the circle members' working competence scores of the observation group were higher,problem-sloving ability(9.10±0.25 vs 8.44±0.17),problem-finding ability(9.08±0.16 vs 8.61±0.20),team spirit(9.23±0.25 vs 8.41±0.29),working enthusiasm(9.30±0.24 vs 8.66±0.19)and working responsibility(9.24±0.17 vs 8.58±0.37),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion QCC activities can reduce the complications of electric pneumatic tourmiquet, obtain higher nursing satistaction in operating room, and improve the working competence of circle members.
