Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of targeted pre-control nursing combined with music intervention on emergence agitation in elderly patients during recovery period of general anesthesia. Methods A total of 189 elderly patients, aged ≥80 years old,ASA Ⅰ orⅡ,receiving general anesthesia in the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College were enrolled as the research objects from January to September 2023.According to random number table method, they were divided into the control group(n=99)and the obser-vation group(n=90).The control group received targeted pre-control nursing, and the observation group received targeted pre-control nursing combined with music intervention. The occurrence of emergence agitation and resuscitation(duration in PACU,complete recovery time of consciousness, recovery time of spontaneous respiration)were compared between the two groups, and nursing satisfaction was in-vestigated.Results After intervention, incidence of agitation was lower in observation group(25.56%)than control group(36.36%)(P<0.05),and the incidence of severe agitation was lower than that in observation group(0.00%)that of control group(7.07%),with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After intervention, recovery time of spontaneous respiration, complete recovery time of consciousness and stay time in PACU were shorter in observation group than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted pre-control nursing combined with music intervention can reduce the incidence of emergence agitation, accelerate resuscitation process in elderly patients receiving surgeries under general anesthesia.
