Selection of anesthetic drugs for painless gastrointestinal endoscopy in obese patients

Abstract：With the development of medical technology and the improvement of people's requirements for comfortable medical care,painless gastroenteroscopy has gradually become the first choice for most patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopy.Painless gastroin-testinal endoscopy has the characteristics of improved patient acceptance,short examination time,and accurate results.Although obesity is not an absolute contraindication to painless gastrointestinal endoscopy,considering its special physiological characteristics,it increases the difficulty and risk of anesthetic drug selection and anesthesia management.Therefore,we should fully understand its particularity and formulate an individualized anesthetic medication plan to minimize the anesthetic risk of obese patients.
