Research progress of emergence agitation mechanism and nursing counter-measures in pediatric patients

Abstract：Due to the joint action of multiple factors,pediatric patients are prone to develop emergence agitation(EA)during the recov-ery period of general anesthesia.Although the duration of EA is short,it increases the risk of physical and mental injury,and produces different degrees of adverse effects,even life-threatening.This paper summarizes the concept,mechanism and harm of emergence agita-tion in pediatric patients,and mainly introduces the nursing research progress of emergence agitation in pediatric patients from the aspects of nursing intervention measures and evaluation methods,so as to provide evidence for guiding medical staff to implement the nursing of pediatric patients with agitation more effectively.
