Effect of continuous quality improvement on rewarming of hypothermic patients under general anesthesia in PACU

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of continuous quality improvement on rewarming of hypothermic patients under general anesthesia in postanesthesia care unit(PACU).Methods The continuous quality improvement measures were adopted to analyze the causes of hypothermia and formulate relevant nursing routine procedures,supervise feedback throughout the whole process for quality im-provement.Results The incidence of hypothermia in patients undergoing general anesthesia in PACU decreased from 50％to 6.67％.Conclusion Continuous quality improvement can effectively reduce the incidence of hypothermia in convalescent patients under general anesthesia in PACU.And the purpose of continuous improvement of medical quality can be achieved.
