Analysis of difference in medical operation data before and after CO VID-19

Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical data of patients undergoing surgery in a tertiary general hospital in Xinjiang before and af-ter the epidemic,and to provide reference for epidemic prevention and control.Methods Descriptive statistical analysis was carried out on the medical records of patients who underwent surgery from October 1,2017 to February 3,2022 in a tertiary first-class general hospital in Xinjiang,including the frequency of surgery in each department,the age of patients undergoing surgery,the distribution of anesthesia grades,the frequency of transfer to ICU,the frequency of intraoperative special circumstances,and the frequency of patients'medical insurance status.Results During the epidemic period,the number of anesthesia surgeries increased by 9.22%year-on-year,the middle-aged and elderly people aged 50-60 increased by 29.41%,the ASA V increased by 42.86%,and the ASA V rescue volume increased by 34.21%month-on-month.ICU patients generally increased.Conclusion By analyzing and understanding the disease conditions and visiting rules of patients undergoing medical surgery during the COVID-19 epidemic,it is helpful to further optimize the allocation of medical resources.
