Abstract:Acute lung injury(ALI)and its critical stage of acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)are common critical illnesses in clinical practice. The pathological process involves complex immune imbalance and tissue repair disorders.Regulatory T cells(Treg)are important regulatory factors in immune regulation that play a crucial protective role in ALI/ARDS through multiple mechanisms such as secreting inhibitory cytokines, blocking the activation of effector T cells, regulating immune cell subsets, and promoting alveolar epithelial repair.Therefore,in-depth exploration of the specific mechanism of Treg in ALI/ARDS will provide important basis for developing targeted immunoregulatory therapeutic strategies. This article reviews the biological characteristics of Treg, its mechanism of action in ALI/ARDS,and related immunotherapy research progress, providing new ideas for targeted immune regulation of ALI/ARDS.
