Abstract:Nogo-B,an endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane protein, belongs to the family of reticular proteins, widely expressed on cell membrane systems in various organs.Recent studies on the molecular structure and novel functions of Nogo-B have shown that Nogo-B plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, alcoholic liver disease, acute lung injury and other inflammatory diseases.Further studies on the mechanisms of Nogo-B would contribute to identify new targets for clinical therapeutics and provide evidences for treatment of various inflammatory diseases.
