Abstract:This study was designed to analyze the curative effect of Danhong injection combined with edaravone in treatment of cerebral infarction and the possible immune mechanisms.Total of 94 patients with acute cerebral infarction were recruited and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 47 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with edaravone, while the observation group was treated with Danhong combined with edaravone. After continuous treatment for 14 days, the levels of clinical efficacy, neurological impairment, life quality, fibrinogen (Fb),blood lipid, and inflammation-related factors were compared between both groups before and after treatment.Data showed that after treatment, the total effective rate of observation group was 95.74% (45/47),which was markedly higher than that of the control group (80.85%,38/47).Furthermore,the observation group demonstrated lower NIHSS score, lower Fb,TC and TG,ET-1 and hs-CRP levels, but higher Barthel index and NO level,as compared with the control group.Statistics analysis indicated that the NIHSS scores were significantly related with the inflammation-related factors ET-1,NO and hs-CRP levels after the combined treatment of edaravone and Danhong injection. Results in this study demonstrate the valid curative effects of the combined treatment of edaravone and Danhong injection for brain infraction,in which several inflammation-related factors might be involved.
