Research progress of Notch signaling pathway in CD4+ T cell differentiation and functional regulation

Abstract：Notch signaling is a highly conserved pathway among different cells.By the interaction with adjacent cells,Notch signaling pathway plays a central regulatory effects of influencing successive stages of cell development,including cell proliferation,differentiation,activation,apoptosis in physiological and pathological conditions.In immune system,Notch signal regulates the immune function of body by regulating the differentiation and function of CD4+T cell and plays vital roles in tuning immune balance and the development of many diseases.In this review,we reviewed briefly the progress of Notch signaling pathway in the differentiation and function of CD4 +T lymphocytes in recent years.
