Abstract:Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) are one of the main components of tumor microenvironment. These cells are characterized by potent immunosuppressive activity.MDSCs interact with tumor ceils through a high degree of cascade effect, leading to tumor cells further development and escaping from the immune system surveillance. The essence of cancer immune therapy is to promote the immune system to attack tumor cells. This paper focuses on MDSCs assisting tumor immune escape, the mechanism of tumor recruitment of MDSCs,and the regulation of traditional Chinese medicine on MDSCs.
