Research progress in the biological effect of interleukin-19

Abstract：IL-19 is a newly discovered member of the IL-10 family and has many differences with IL-10 in biological activity.At present,the biological role of IL-19 has not been elucidated.IL-19 exhibits different immunomodulatory effects in different diseases.In this paper,based on the research progress at home and abroad,the biological properties of IL-19 are reviewed.The potent immunomodulatory activity of IL-19 has potential value in clinical treatment.
