Abstract:This study was performed to investigate the changes of DCs subsets in peripheral blood of patients with RA,so as to lay a foundation for further elucidation of the pathogenesis of RA.A total of 63 RA patients and 30 normal controls were enrolled, and all the RA patients were divided into different 3 subgroups according to disease activity score. The frequency of DCs and Tregs in peripheral blood were evaluated by flow cytometry, and the correlation between DCs and Tregs was analyzed.Data showed that the total number of DCs in peripheral blood of RA patients was lower than that of normal controls (P<0.05);there was no difference in pDCs between RA patients and normal (P>0.05);the ratio of CD1C+DCs decreased in RA patients, but there was no statistical significance (P> 0.05).However,the ratio of CD141+DCs in RA patients decreased significantly (P<0.01),consistent with the changes of Tregs (r=0.51,P<0.01).Thus,we can conclude that the decrease of CD141+DCs ratio in RA patients is related to the decrease of Tregs, and may play a role in the pathogenesis of RA.
