IL-17/IL-17R and cancer
Abstract:Interleukin-17 (IL-17) is a newly identified pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted by CD4~+ T cells and neutrophils. IL-17, which has many functions and target cells, has been shown to enhance the recruitment of neutrophils, the expression of pro-inflammatory factor, and the proliferation of cells. IL-17 has been considered to be involved in the development of inflammation, self-immunity disease, and cancer. In this article, we summarized the potential role of IL-17 in cancer.
