Immunogenicity of FMD trivalent recombinant fowlpox virus vaccine

Abstract：Objective To detect the immunogenicity of recombinant fowlpox virus vUTA-IL18-OAAT expressing multipleepitope foot and mouth disease virus FMDV antigen which have been designed and constructed by our lab before.Methods Balb/c mice were immunized intramuscularly with the vUTA-IL18-OAAT,FPV,or PBS,three times every 2 weeks.Ten days after the last immunization,12 mice from each group were sacrificed to detect the numbers of spleen T lymphocyte subgroups,the cytotoxic activity,and the antibodies against serotype O,A and Asial FMDV.Results Higher T cells subset,the cytotoxic activity and the level of antibody against serotype O,A and Asial FMDV were found in the mouse vaccinated with the recombinant fowlpox viruse vUTA-IL18-OAAT as compared with control mice.Conclusion The recombinant fowlpox viruse vUTA-IL18-OAAT can induce stronger cellular immune reaction and humoral immune reaction in mice.
