Abstract:Objective To Study the molecular mechanism of guizhi fuling wan (GFW) in controlling the tumor growth for pro-riding experiment evidence of GFW developing and utilizing. Methods The S180 mouse sarcoma model was used for detecting the cane-er inhibiting effects of GFW. The protein expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), P21waf/cip, and the mRNA expression of survivin were evaluated by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. Results For S180 sarcoma, the inhibiting ratio of GFW was 38.93%. Survivin mRNA and PCNA was markedly declined in the GFW group, compared with the model group (P<0.01),while the positive expression of p21waf/cipwas obviously higher in GWF group than that in the model group (P<0.01). Conclusion GFW controls the tumor cell growth, whose mechanism maybe closely related with adjusting expression levels of PCNA ,p21waf/cip and survivin gene.
