In v itro study on T cell proliferation inhibited by CTLA4Ig
Abstract:Objective To study the effects of CTLA4Ig on T cellproliferation. Methods T cell proliferation induced by phytohemagglutinin(PHA), lipopolysaccharide(LPS) and staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) with or without CTLA4Ig were detected by morphological changes and 3 H-TdR incorporation. Results PHA, LPS-induced T cell proliferation was inhibited by CTLA4Ig in a dose-dependent manner, while SEB-induced T cell proliferation was completely inhibited only when the dose of CTLA4Ig used reached to higher than 5 μg/mL.Conclusion CTLA4Ig could effectively inhibit T cell proliferation induced by PHA, LPS and SEB with different reaction models.
