Immunological analysis of nuclear matrix proteins specific for human esophageal cancer
Abstract:Objective To investigate the marker protein of human esophageal cancer from nuclear matrix proteins(NMPs), Methods nuclear matrix proteins prepared by high salt extraction were injected subcutaneously into rabbit to get antiserum, which was used to detect the NMPs specific for esophageal cancer. Results There is an apparent positive band (126 000 u) in the esophageal cancer NMPs, which does not exist in other tumors detected except for cardiac tumor originated from esophageal cancer. Conclusion One or one group of 126 000 u NMPs are found to be related to human esophageal cancer, they may be involved in the carcinogenesis and development of human esophageal cancer and show some diagnostic importance.
