Result of phycobiliprotein immunofluorescence assay for serum HBsAg detection

Abstract：Objective In research of phycobiliprotein fluorescently-labeled diagnostic kit,nitrocellulose membrane was
used as solid phase in detection of HBsAg. Methods One-step phycobiliprotein immunofluorescence assay was combined with
enzyme linked immunoadsorption assay to make simultaneous detection of standard antigen and 500 serum samples. Results
There are some advantages of this fluorescence method over the conventional ELISA. The use of phycobiliprotein as fluores-
cence tag avoids pseudopositive results ,and may accomplish the detection within several minutes. The random accordance ra-
tio with ELISA is up to 96. 6%. Conclusion Increasing the sensitivity,this method may be excellent ,safe for quick detec-
tion.
