Stability analysis of incline masonry structure and support around longwall mining face area in steeply dipping seam
Abstract:The reaction of overburden structure and support-surrounding rock system in steeply dipping seam mining is very different from that in flat or moderately pitched coal seam mining. Numerous past practices, experimental research and theoretic analysis indicate that the interaction between support and incline masonry structure can be divided into several patterns, such as uprightness-pressing, inclination-pushing, anti-inclination-pushing, back-pushing and strike- pushing, which cause extrusion instability, glide instability and dumping instability of supports easily. Then the support- roof contact mechanical model was founded. Based on the dynamic theory and R-S-F dynamic control theory, the differ- ent kinds of the stabilities between support and incline masonry structure were analyzed at different situation, and the dynamic equation and "rock-support" stability determinant condition were concluded.
