Experiment study on surface potential of pre-cracked coal under uniaxial compression
Abstract：The research was made on the rules of surface potential of pre-cracked coal under uniaxial compression.The mechanism producing surface potential of pre-cracked coal was discussed initially,the experiment helped us comprehend the rules of electromagnetic emission.The results show that the intensity and the amplitude of the surface potential of the pre-cracked coal is reduced,the surface potential has an obvious fluctuation along with the load.At the maximal stress the destruction of pre-cracked coal and the surface potential ascend drastically.After the maximal stress the pre-cracked coal leave higher surface potential.The surface potential closely related with pre-crack and the change of the load can feedback the development of inner destruction of coal with macroscopical vice under compression.This study can supply the evidence for forecast dynamical phenomenon of the coal in mine.
